21 " Pixel Touch Monitor Southeastern PA
« on: June 10, 2003, 07:07:59 am »
I'm going to order a KDS KVS-21 PIXEL TOUCH 21" MONITOR
from www.bizsyscon.com.
If anyone in the Southeastern PA area is interested in getting one we can split shipping. They ship these on a pallet so they don't get broken. The cost of the new monitor is $75. Shipping for one monitor is about $90 if it's sent to a freight company. Any additional monitor sent on the same pallet would add about $20 to the shipping cost.
Here's the email I got from the company:

"Its 22

many of these being sold these days don't have the touch screen on them...  If they dont', you can pick them up on ebay for less I think....  (take a quick search... shipping is the issue)

But if it DOES have the touchscreen... think about how fun it would be to play missile command with a touchscreen!

Also, always consider going with a SVid TV instead.  Cheaper if you want bigger, and MUCH better output for arcade games... Goto Oscars site about his right up to see what I'm talking about.... It really does a better job for arcade games...  new 27" would be about 50 -100 bucks more then what your talking about with shipping... and you have a warranty...

These definately do NOT have the touchscreen.

If you were playing Missile Command with a touchscreen, how would the game know which base to fire from?

And how does the screen know you just gave it the middle finger?  :D
