Dimensions to the top control panel of the Xarcade???
« on: June 10, 2003, 04:25:13 am »
Does anyone have the dimensions to not the entire xarcade dual player joystick unit, but just the top control pannel, as it is a slightly strange shape?

Cheers guys!

There used to be a nice, detailed plan on their site of every dimension but can't seem to find it now that they changed their site around.  I think I have it stored locally at home.  I'll check tonight and post the image if I do have it.  If not I guess I could measure mine...

zaphod,

If you still happened to have it stored locally then that is sensational. If you can't find it but wouldn't mind measuring the top CP then I would be eternally grateful.

rampy,

Cheers mate! I found the same dimensions as well for the single player panel, but I could not find anything detailing the dimensions of the top playing panel where the buttons are mounted. You are right, I was trying to track down the dimensions for the dual player panel, and off the top of my head i think it was the same but 25" wide... i think.

Thanks again guys!

May I inquire, as to why you are fixated on the x-arcade dimensions?

Are you placing an existing x-arcade (or one to be purchased) into a cabinet OR recreating your own controller/panel and want to base it on x-arcades general look/layout?

I found the specs on hardcopy only so no dice there.  Instead, I included a few of the measurements I made from my controller on the attached pic.  I am assuming, as Rampy is, that you just like the basic shape.  If that is so, you can easily modify the dimensions to fit whatever size CP you wish.  Hopefully this will help some.
