Golden tee 2002 Fore Edition Monitor

Picked up a mint golden tee 2002 fore edition, came with a Wells Gardner 27D9204.  It would appear that the video neck board that connects the system board to the monitor is super loose.  The problem comes in when someone lays into a drive, if they move the machine just a bit, it dims the video.  I can reach around back and wiggle the board and the picture comes back to super bright.  Not sure if its a part that needs replacing or if that's its intended design, just seems like I can pull the board off the physical monitor itself way to easy.  Any suggestions or advice anyone has would be great

Glue the neck board to the back of the tube with silicon adhesive like it was from the factory.  Put a bead that rests on the tube glass and the plastic neckboard socket.  Or, carefully bend the pins outward so the socket fits the tube better and then glue it.

a small screwdriver can be used to adjust (bend) the pin tension on crt sockets (with pwr OFF- )

the plastic end guide may need replaced as well.  this is assuming the absence of cold solder joints....

Thanks much guys for the advice, I think I will try the bending of the pins first, and than try the adhesive.  Never really worked on this type of stuff, any suggestions on things to defiantly avoid?  How far should i bend each pin?  Will bending them alone fix the problem, or should I go with the combination of both bending and adhesive?  How much adhesive should i lay down?

I suggest trying both, as, as mentioned, the adhesive is a standard part of the manufacture.

Thanks again, would kind of adhesive would you recommend?  Also, should I be conservative when applying it?  Any reason you can think of why the board would come of with ease?  glue just wear down?

most likely cause? its been take off/put back on too many times.

Thanks, other than making sure its unplugged, do I need to wait awhile after unplugged before applying the adhesive?  Should I apply the adhesive to the prongs on the monitor and than around the white edge of the connector?

Make sure the monitor/cabinet of the game is unplugged---power off that is--- and plug the neck board back onto the tube and then glue the plastic socket to the plastic ring that is around the end of the picture tube where the pins protrude from.  DO NOT put the glue directly on the pins of the tube and then connect it!!!  You just want to put a small bead of adhesive, even latex caulking will work, on the top 3/4 of an inch of the tube because you may have to remove the neck board someday for repair and if you have a WG D9200 from 2002 that is is made in Malaysia I guarantee you will have to repair it eventually.  Even Wells-Gardner admits these Malaysian monitorts are junk.
