Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum but I have to admit I've been reading through it off and on for a couple of months.

Currently I'm nearly finished with a scratch built Galaga upright. I didn't have the money to buy a dedicated upright at the turn of the year so I've been trying to build one out on a budget in my spare time. This forum has been a great source of information for someone like me and I'd like to contribute to it as well with what I've learned. I'll have some questions I'm sure but will post them later in the appropriate section.

I had planned to tinker with the idea of putting together a Space Invaders cabinet but managed to find a dedicated 1979 Space Invaders cocktail that I picked up last month in pretty good shape. And wouldn't you know it, the one game I was working on has turned into three - I found a local guy yesterday who had a dedicated Galaga cocktail for sale at a pretty good price and he dropped it off this afternoon.

I need to get some batteries for my camera before I can post pictures of my games as they are and as they comes together. I do have one of the Space Invaders I took when I picked it up that I'll include. I'll try to post some of the Galagas this weekend.
