For all of you who wan to read some funny comics:

http://arcadeafterdark.com

I really like the part "what arcade characters are really thinking" http://arcadeafterdark.com/what/what_they%27re_thinking.htm

 :laugh2:
Wish list: Galaga, Pacman, Pooyan, Star Wars cockpit, Gauntlet, Tron

And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.

The ones I saw didn't even come close to making me laugh. (I only looked at "What Arcade Characters Are Really Thinking)

I especially didn't like the fact that they simply used Comic Book Creator to make it. So lazy...

If that's your definition of lazy, I'd hate to see what you would say about me ...  ::)

I was fine with it until I saw the "iced" word balloon on the Super Mario Bros strip. It didn't fit and all. It was like they just wanted to use it somewhere.

Also, the comics I looked at had minimal effort put into them. It's not so much that they used CBC that bugged me, it was the fact that they used it to put together a quick and easy webcomic.

I guess I'm just used to good webcomics with original art and well-written dialogue...

Well, often things that have next to no effort put in them can still be damn hilarious. The problem with these comics is they come off like the works of a junior high school kid.
NO MORE!!

The first thing I said in this thread is that it wasn't even funny. The minimal effort was second to that.

I agree.

There are more funnier things that go on this board than those entire cartoons put together.

I think they tried too hard.  ;)
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

I dunno ... I would love a series of attractions animations with arcade game characters dropping into the Tapper bar.
