Every time i upgrade MAME and add the new Roms causes me this problem(s)...

OK so in the past when ive gone from say MAME 123 to 124.. or 124 to 125.. on my "custom" game list is there a way for me to add just the "New Roms" that were updated? I havn't figured out a way and now im reluctant to update because and I don't know why but MahJohng game specifically cause MaLa to crash while i'm scrolling through my game list, and then wont load MaLa because the game resumes on the crashed game and keeps happening.

* The way ive been doing it is i go into "All games list" and just remove what i don't want.. but can i access my current modified list and just add the "updates" ? Does this make any sense?

Probably a bad snap or video associated with that game. Try removing it.

way back when in filtering i put in remove "mahjohng" games and ever since then no matter what if it contains the word mahjong and it appears on the list it crashes not using video previews anymore because they don't seem to be reliable either

That's because a lot of them are clones for each other.  Take loadman's advice about removing the bad snaps or video.  you can double test this theory. 

1)  change the snaps/video path in mala to a dummy dir so you get no snaps/videos and see if mala crashes
2)  outside of mala, go to the mame dir and type:   mame <rom_name> and launch the offending rom

ok but is there a way i'm trying to go from MAME 125 to now 127, so figure "xx" amount games got added to the list whatever went from say 6923 to 7200 roughly.. how do i just update the ones i added to my custom list? is this possible.. or do i need to scroll through and hit "add" on each individual set / rom this is tidious unless another way is possible.. if not i think it should be implemented in the future if at all possible

You can set the option for your main game list to contain only games for which you have roms.  Then every time you add roms, right-click and choose "refresh main game list".  The new games will appear in this list.   You mention your "custom list", but if you have 7200 roms in it just use the main game list and set it use only the games for which you have roms in your rom folder.
