Looks like it only does a 800 x 600 resolution, but its 33 inches

Just figured id share what i found on ebay

Looks like it only does a 800 x 600 resolution, but its 33 inches

Just figured id share what i found on ebay

heh, they listed it as a 33' monitor... 33 feet! just like stone henge props in Spinal Tap (well the inverse.. but you know what I mean)

Good enough. Most people actually end up playing games at 800x600 unless their gfx cards are the pwn.

That description is funny, because they say "This flat screen is viewable from any angle," yet you can very clearly see that the screen is curved, not flat... I would use that insight to temper their claims of quality etc.

I have the same monitor except it is 5 years older (1988) model.

I'm using it for my MAME dresser. It is to heavy (IMO) to put in a cabinet. I think it weighs about 150 pounds.  On mine I had to build a horizontal delay to keep the screen centered when switching between 640x480 and 800x600 modes. There is a "pot" on the front panel, but who wants to adjust that all the time?

I got mine broken for $60. Two hours and a inch of solder fixed it.
It has a solid metal chassis so I can put speakers on the side with out messing up the screen.

I even tested it at 1024x768, but I used a setting with a low horizontal rate.

youd definately have to build something special to house this big fella
