I picked this up on eBay recently for my (future) cab, since it was so much cheaper than the Happ heavy duty trigger stick that I had originally planned on getting.
My CP will be 3/4 in. MDO, and in looking at the joystick’s shaft, there’s about 1 3/8 in. between the bottom of the stick and the top of the base. That seems like it would be enough for me to mount the joystick under the panel with t-nuts/bolts, so long as I drill a hole large enough to allow the joystick to hit the switches at the bottom (I estimate about 1 1/2 in., maybe slightly larger). Does anyone see any potential problems with that idea? Personally, it seems like it would be too high if I mounted it on top of the panel.
Also, for anyone who’s familiar with this stick (which looks like the M.A.C.H. 3 stick on KLOV’s site), which buttons/connections do each of the 4 colored wires (orange, green, blue, and yellow) go to? I suppose ground/common is the most important, since I can always change the buttons from inside the games, but if anyone happens to know ahead of time, it would sure be a help to know.
Thanks for any help you can provide!
