I know hyperspin just came out today but can MaLa Work with it ?

Id like to know if i launch Hyperspin can it launch MaLa, and then back to hyperspin ? are they able to switch back and forth with each other seamlessly ? also is MaLa going to intergrade the flv / eye candy.

Just out of curiosity.. why would you want one front-end to launch another front-end.  That's kinda like looking into a mirror which is pointed at another mirror creating the infinite row of mirrors, no?

I agree and why all the hype over HS, it looks very childish to me.  I have seen at least 3 other FE, MALA, ATOMIC and that other from about 8 months ago that I personally think look much better.  I think people are just to lazy or don't know how to make the graphics for the FE.

edit....I don't mean childish in a bad way, I just don't like the look.  Reminds me of the  48 in 1 games I see at some bars

  Why would you want to switch between FE's all the time?  I can understand having a few on your system while you decide which one you want to run in your cab but after that ..

Anyway....

MaLa is getting a face list will get a face lift evtually but it's real focus not so much 'bling bling' it  is being versitile, powerfull and flexable.

MALA is still my FE choice for sure.  I can go on and on about why that is but I'd be preaching to the choir with this crowd.  Mainly, I like collecting extra media and reading the history file along with all of the artwork that you can define in mala very easily.

I have to say however, that for the games that HS has themes for already, it's pretty attractive.  for ppl that come to your house and don't care to examine the PCB pics or arcade flyers, or your long list of games.

Well as I say visual 'Bling Bling' is not a priority for MaLa development at the moment as there are other FE's catering to that. 

But I do encourage feedback/ suggestions on how game lists can be better arranged and customized.
