Bezel Tracing/Cutting
« on: August 06, 2008, 07:35:10 pm »
I'm getting the bezel cut for my cab.  I've got plain ol' posterboard and I need to trace and cut a hole for the monitor.

Question though - I've got the monitor mounted for purpose of tracing the outer edge of it against the back of the posterboard.  Are there any tips or tricks I should know about for getting the coordinates right?

I tried using foamboard earlier and got the cut wrong by about 1 mm, which exposed the monitor casing (plus foamboard wasn't really attractive or easy to work with)
