Does anyone have a coin mech on their juke?
« on: August 06, 2008, 08:57:59 am »
Eventually I will begin designing my juke. One of the main requirements for me though is to have coin-op functionality. I have not seen a single juke on here ever have coin-op integrated. That is the whole point of a jukebox!!

Surely someone on here has done it, right?

A Few freebox users have, you might want to ask over on my forums.

Mine does ..... but then again it's built from an original commercial juke.

I would think that since most of the software, even though capable, isn't really designed for any kind of commercial use. And when people build their custom home jukes it's merely for entertainment and so the coin mech option just never really comes into play in their designs.
Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.

Putting the coin in is the biggest part for me. If a coin isn't required, it has no place in my gameroom.  ;D

When I get a chance I will peek in at your forums Barry.
