SOLVED: YouTube videos not working for me ....

I click on the YouTube video users have posted but nothing happens?  Is there an option to allow YouTube videos to work?

im finding youtube really slow recently,are they definitely not working , not just loading really slowly?

Not working ..... when I click the "play button" nothing happens.   It is weird.

I can play YouTube videos if I go to the YouTube site without problem......

Are you using FireFox?  I've noticed that sometimes, while FF doesn't "crash" per se, flash videos will stop functioning properly, and I have to restart it.

I am using FireFox, although restarting did not solve the problem.   I have not tried to reboot yet though ... too much stuff active to do that yet.

Are you running scripts or allowing them on arcadecontrols.com?  If you are running NoScript, but not allowing scripts to be ran here, that could be it.

Not sure what you mean by "scripts".    I have not altered my BYOAC settings at all from what they have been for years now.    Also, in Mozilla .... I do not really mess with any settings either. 

How can I check this script setting thing?

Again, clicking on YouTube videos in BYOAC use to work, but not anymore.

I just rebooted my computer but that did not solve the problem ...

I can go to youtube.com and play videos there, just can not play them via BYOAC posts

I can go into BYOAC and start the YouTube videos if I use Internet Explorer though .... so obviously this is a Mozilla problem.

In Firefox, click on Tools then go to add-ons.  Under the extensions tab, do you have one listed called NoScript?

Or simply right click in Firefox and look for an entry called NoScript.  If it's there, move your cursor over it so more options come up.  Select  "Allow Arcadecontrols.com".  That should do it.

If you don't have NoScript, you could have another add-on that blocks scripts from being ran.  Perhaps listing all of your add-ons will help us diagnose the issue.

Under my extensions tab there is nothing listed at all.    Under my "Get AddOns" tab there is a "No Script" thing, but I am assuming that means I never added it yet since it is listed under the "Get AddOns" tab, so that can not be the problem ... correct?

When I right click on Mozilla there is nothing which indicates "No Script".   The pic below shows what I see when I right-click.

You could always try reinstalling mozilla.

I upgraded to the latest Adobe Flashplayer and the videos started working once again
