Neo-Geo Mini Cabinet Questions

Just thought I would throw this out there and see what happens. I am picking up a Neo-Geo Mini cabinet from someone tonight and I have a few questions that I hope someone here can help with.

Has anyone ever replaced the control panel in one of these? Where could you even get one? (I am not going to damage this thing in any way. It is just that when I get a new cabinet I like to usually get an extra control panel that way if I mod anything I can always go back to stock.)

I have an extra control panel for my full size Neo-Geo and thought about cutting it down to size and seeing if that would work. I am not positive this is even possible and will not know for sure until this weekend when I can really take a good look at everything.

The screen looked pretty good on it, but I am always worried. Has anyone replaced the screen in one of these and if so which one did you go with? The stock one is 13 inches.
