Super Auction St.Louis (belleville) IL.
« on: June 07, 2003, 11:10:33 pm »
Just got back from the Super Auction in Belleville IL.  Not alot there this time and not alot of people.  There were several space invader machines that went for under $200.  There were some good buys on some of the games.  Got a spy hunter for $50, dont know if it works or not yet.  Very little burn on the monitor and in average shape.  Of course Do Rag was there buying up his own games and stopping the auction so they could resell his stuff.  People were getting a little peeved over this  >:(  I think he is in cahoots with the auctioneers.... ???.  This was a buyers auction (if you werent buying the do-mans stuff). Oh a mame machine went for $550, had 2 there but didnt get the price on the other one.

I do believe that Do-Rag is in cahoots with the auctioneers.  The friends who went with me to the Super Auction in Dallas (actually Mesquite) thought he worked for the auction company.  I'm not sure if that's the case, but they definitely work "with" him on trying to get more for his cabs (in a not so ethical way, IMHO).

To anyone that made it to this, was there any Star Wars cabs?  How much did they go for?  I'd like to get a non-working one sometime.  Don't need anything but a bare cab, preferably with nice artwork.
