Help in idenitfying cabinet
« on: July 28, 2008, 02:38:57 pm »
Hey guys, I picked up this cab a little over a year ago and it has since pretty much just sat there.  I had some problems with the video (I'm converting it to a Mame cabinet) but recently went back to it and sorted those issues out.
After working on it for a while and staring at the side art, I finally got curious enough to wonder what it had originally been.  It seems to have been converted a few times, and when I bought it it was a Karnov cabinet.

I can't figure out the side art for the life of me and was just wondering if anyone had a clue.
I only have one picture that kind of shows the side art (barely) but i will post some more soon if it will help.

Thanks guys

Carlito

Wild guess, but euro version of Ultravox?

Seriously, it looks like pre-82 game. Are you in North America or Europe/elsewhere ?

I'm in North America..Canada to be exact.

Yeah, pretty sure it's an old old cabinet.  The monitor inside is a hantarex mtc 900 (again, old old)

Do you have a link or anything to information on Ultravox    I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Sorry, I meant Stratovox. Which is not it. That art of those little men, rising up and the planet image at the top reminded me of the gameplay of Stratovox. Maybe this was a clone of it, or then again maybe it was just a generic cabinet.

Yeah, i can't seem to find any art that even resembles this cabinet.  :dunno
Ah well, at some point its gotta be taken down and fixed up, sanded, primed and painted anyway.
