Grainger is blowing out some
Kester Solder at under $6 per pound. I picked up some
"44", my local store didn't have any of the
"245". I've been trying to find a local source for this stuff ever since I picked up a
Metcal on ebay, because I didn't want to spend $35 to have
a pound of solder delivered.
The caveat is that mine was manufactured in 9/2006, and it doesn't have an infinite
shelf-life. I don't know if this is an
RoHS stock issue or just removal of aging stock.
