Coin Door - Coin reject lamp voltage?
«

Does anyone know the proper voltage for this coin door (coin reject lights) from Happ?
http://www.happ.com/coindoors/40000800.htm
I would imagine that it's a "standard". I've got 5 and 12 volts available... I just don't want to put 12v across a 5v lamp.
tkx!

It depends on the bulb that's in there. You can always change it to whatever you want.

Yea... I've looked at the bulb. The only markings on it are:
VCH
------
161
and
717
Google didn't turn up much with only this info.
I figured that this would be a "standard" coin door that plugged into some "standard" harness... so it would likely have a "standard" voltage.... that you guys would know.

It's a 161 bulb, which means it's 12V. Technically, it's 14V, but you'll be running it lower.
You could swap it out for a 5V bulb if you wanted, like a 555.
