Amplify 2 volt electrical signal to 12 or 5 volts. Help!
« on: July 21, 2008, 07:10:38 pm »
How can I amplify a 2 volt electrical signal to a 12 or 5 volt signal. Basically here is whats going on. I hacked a couple of playstation 2 controllers for my arcade cabinet. I've decided that it would be a cool idea to take the signal that comes from vibration function of the controller to use towards lighting. The problem is when rumble is activated only a tiny 2 volt signal is sent which is barely enough to light a single led. I would like to somehow amplify this to 5 volts or higher. Does anyone know how to do this?
