Voyager Hood
« on: July 16, 2008, 09:14:15 pm »
I am looking for detailed measurement of the hood, roof, of Star Trek Voyager cock-pit.  I got a Star Trek Voyager Cockpit a month ago but it is missing the hood that goes on top.  The place that had it through it away a years ago.  I am going to make one.  I can get it about right from pictures I have found on the net but if I had detailed plans it would be easier.  I also would like to get artwork for the hood as that is high enough resolution that it could be printed and attached to the hood and look good.  I think the best I can do there would be a picture with a camera.

If anyone has these or know where I can get them let me know.  Below is a picture for reference the hood is the thing in the white box.

Hmmm, they have one at the movie theater that I always go to. If no one chimes in I guess I could force myself to go there with a digital camera and a tape measure and see if I get kicked out first. Whadda ya think?

I was thinking the same thing; the movie theater I go to has one......

I wouldn't say I go there often, or ever, but the only one I ever saw was at a movie theater a city or 2 away.  what is it with the moves and this game

As long as you're doing all that, wouldn't it be just as easy to unbolt it and send it to him?  ;D

Barring this as we are all law abiding citizens here the measurements and pictures would be greatly appreciated.  If you could get a several of close-up of the artwork then I can stick them together in Photoshop that would be the best way if possible.  But don't get yourself into trouble on my account.

if you could ask the manager he might let you take the top apart and scan the images (in pieces unless you have access to a huge scanner).  all in the name of historical preservation of course ;)

It is OK.  It is a two person shooter like Police Trainer.  There is some plot inconsistency that I do not like.  It is a huge cock pit so I have it in the garage.  My son and I played it and finished the whole thing through the brute force method of adding tokens and continuing till the end.  I love Star Trek so that and the general coolness factor overall I would rate it a 9 of 10.  For actual game play alone I would rate it a 7 of 10.  If you want further info I will write a detailed review later but I will not have time for a week or 2.
