Does anybody in the U.S. sell this joystick?
« on: July 11, 2008, 09:02:10 pm »

http://www.arcadeshop.de/Joysticks-Trigger-Joystick_269.html

I contacted this company a couple years ago, and at least the time they didn't export to the U.S..

Also, almost 60 Euros is rather expensive.

P.S. Are they any other alternatives to the HAPP Heavy Duty 8-Way Trigger Stick out there?

Nice design. Not colossally deep, and apparently doesn't require bolts through the top.

It may not be "Arcade Tough", but it looks like it would be great for home use.

The depth was one of the things I liked about it. I had to hack a Happ Heavy Duty joystick, to make it less deep. I just replaced the vertical posts with shorter versions. It works fine, but feels even more sloppy than the original.

They do have the option to change to US currency, so I would think they ship to the states now.

You should be up for approx. 47.86 Euros, plus shipping to the U.S.

The base price of 56.95 includes 19% VAT.  This is a tax which only applies to E.U. residents.

From the website :
" Our prices include German VAT of 19 %. This VAT could be substracted, if and when your delivery address is located outside of the EU. "

Doing the math :

56.95 / 119 * 100 = 47.86

Thank you. I hadn't noticed that.

That puts the US$ cost at about $76.00 each.

Which is less than half a Happ stick. (Of course, I got a leaf-switch NOS stick for about forty bucks, shipped on ebay. I may go for this one, instead, though.)
