built in screenshot printer for my cab?
« on: July 10, 2008, 09:51:31 am »
i just had an idea...
is it possible to have a button on my control panel that takes a screen shot of the game I am playing (taking the place of the PrtSc key on my keyboard) and then have it sent to a printer that i would have mounted in my cabinet where it would be printed and the prints would come out a thin slot that would be cut out of the kick plate (i am not too fussed about arcade authenticity). I usually do this with pc games because i want to capture those epic moments in games for the future. when i do this i have to exit the game (which i don't want to do because i don't like the thought of people being reminded it is just mame on a pc) . would i need special software? is this even feasible?

It seems like this application would fit your needs.
