WTB: Empty Cab for Mame - Phoenix Area
« on: July 07, 2008, 02:29:46 am »
Hello,

I am looking for an empty cab to Mame in the Phoenix area. I can pick up with my truck. Please let me know if anyone has any to sell.

Thanks!

Hello,

I am in the Phoenix area as well. Have you tried craigslist?

If you do a search for arcades there is a guy way in the east valley, and one near tucson that sells cabs/parts/etc.

There is also "the arcade store" in Mesa, but he gets a little expensive......and can kinda be a jerk.

Hello,

Yeah, I've been on Craig's List. The Arcade store you mentioned wanted $100 for an empty cab or $250 with just the monitor. Seemed kind of high and he wouldn't send me a pic so I figured I would try elsewhere.

There is a posting of empty cabs on there but they are almost too odd shaped to use. There is 1 decent one pictured but it was clearly a stand up driving unit so I'm not sure how I could attach a cp and have it look good still. As a last resort it may work well.

I was hoping maybe someone might have one stashed away that they don't think they will use or have time/space to convert. I'm not opposed to paying up to $100.00 as long as it is a cab I can work with.

Thanks for your help. Here's hoping someone has one!  ;D

The arcade barn guy in Gilbert sometimes sells cabinet shells for around $50 is I remember correctly.
