potential bulk buy in New England
« on: June 30, 2008, 10:51:49 am »
I’m hoping everyone on here is of high moral fiber.  I’m trying to put together this bulk buy off of craigslist, so don’t screw me on this.  I don’t have room for all 16 games (and 1 bill changer).  I’m looking for 1-2 guys who want to go in on this with me.  We each divide up the merchandise and go our separate ways, 2 ways we’re looking at 5 hundo, 3 ways we’re looking at 333.  Drop me a line ASAP if you are really in.  I’m going to try to arrange picking the games up next weekend.

Damn it I wish you'd just said 'England'! (See my comments in the last thread on bulk buys/clearances)  :D

But how are you splitting these up?  What if two guys want the same machine?  Flip a coin?

I see at least one Williams cab in there, can't tell which one.

a snaking draft. we can flip a coin to see who goes first. let's say jim picks first, dave second, joe third.  Then it goes backwards so Joe gets the 4th pick, dave the 5th and so on.  There's also a pin in the deal as well.  The guy said it's an older one and it needs glass.  Just so you guys know my first choice would probably be the hangon or the pin.  I'm just looking for a couple of games to throw into my friend's babershop that I don't care if they get beaten up, and a couple of projects for X-MAS gifts.

I would go in on it, but I have no transportation, and only have room for like 2 cabs... (Also only a few of the cabs in the CL interest me and only for their cases as I would be MAMEing them)

If I had the room and transport I would prolly buy all of them and then sell them individually for a small "profit" (ie compared to the bulk #cabs/$999 deal).

Oh well. Maybe I should get off my butt and buy another vehicle...
