WTB: Working Midway Zeus PCB (MK4, Invasion the Abductors)
« on: June 26, 2008, 04:09:36 pm »
Just like the title says...mine is fried and I still haven't managed to fix it yet(I suspect the cpu might be dead- :'( )
So...I'm looking for a replacement to put my roms in...will pay a fair price if it works with no problems...with or without roms on it, I don't care which. Thanks!

had to put it back together to test....at this point all the lights indicate that it is operating properly(i.e. all not constantly on....the one that flashes the revision number does so, and the sound light flashes at the rate it should-all this according to the manual and schems anyhoo)..what's weird is you can hear it coin up but nothing more(total black screen btw)...thought it was the ROMs but I re-wrote all of them on new chips and still nothing...I have some parts on order(couple caps and a transistor that seemed shady) but as much progress as I've made I'm not that hopeful of getting it to work again...so thought it would be great to have a working board to compare with...would definately make my life much easier. ;)

I've fixed the exact same problem before. I wish I remembered what I did to fix it... :banghead:  I know it involved RAM...

I have a similar issue with a Midway Invasion board playing blind. I believe this has to do with the RAM. Anyone know the location of the ram or how to test it?    ;D
