How much is a Terminator 2 Gun worth ?

Just wondering what the community might think T2 arcade guns might be worth ? My thinking is more along the lines of using a hack to make it work with MAME, not for a restoration project.

My own thoughts would be around $20-30 ea ? Or am I being unrealistic ?

Really looking forward to some input.

sounds about right to me.  Search for the "dual strike" hack and you'll find what you need.

Yup, already found it and applied to my star wars yoke.

I see these guns come up now and again, craigslist or ebay, and I wonder how much I should pay vs. my excitement about getting them, heh.

I've seen operation thunderbolt guns (basically the same as far as function) go for $20 / pair at arcade shows.  $20 + shipping would be my max.

Good to know, I'll have to add that to my list of things to search for. In fact ebay has a buy it now for one of those for $20, but the shipping is $22!

That's the worst part about them on ebay.  Typically, the sellers are fair on the price, but shipping is killer.

btw, I have 2 and had them in a control panel.  I had some problems with the frontend so I had to use a keyboard... but in mame they where great.

But that being said, I hardly ever use them (haven't even moved them to my new arcade machine).  Why?  The games that work well with them work even better with the lcd top guns.  Sure the joysticks are more accurate, but the top guns are so much fun to play with.
