Pause and ESC. button with JPAC, what's the best way to do it?

Just wondering, what is the best way to do a dedicated Pause and Esc. button using a JPAC?  I would also like a button to shut down the computer, which in turn will kill all other electric things via a smartstrip. 

I will be using 6 buttons per player, so I should have 2 left per player on the screw terminals.

I think I just answered my question, but is it just a matter of hooking them up and messing with the JPAC programing?

Well... to anyone else who wonders, all you have to do is hook up whatever additional buttons to the jpac screw terminals.  I used player2 buttons 7 and 8.  Then use the IPAC/JPAC programing utility.  Put the buttons where they go on the panel layout, then program them in the table layout.

I ended up setting one to ESC. one to pause, and making escape shut down the computer when shifted.

I need to get some pics and put in the project section.  I am pretty satisfied, the forstner  bit made it a breeze!

I wired an arcade button to my power switch on my computer. All this does is complete a circuit and starts the computer. I have everything including the marquee lights wired into the computer power supply so it all turns on and off with that one button. You can set windows up to properly shut down windows when the power button is pressed

It sounds like the computer switch is just a momentary push button (like the arcade buttons).  I can shut it down by shifting the button (a temporary fix) but cant turn it on that way (no power to the encoder at that point).  I will wire up a switch to the computer's power switch and then once it turns on the smartstrip I just ordered should turn the marquee and speakers on.  I do have it set up to go through the shutdown process when the power button is pressed.
