On/Off ??????????
« on: June 20, 2008, 04:25:08 pm »
In a self built mame unit how do you turn it on and off?  Do you actually have to open up the cabinet and push the power button on the computer?  I'm sure someone has figured out how to do easily power it on by mounting a button to the outside that powers the unit on.  How is this done?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Mines remote control. Bought a "bye bye standby" system for it and a 3 way extension cord. One press of the remote control and instant Mame/Dreamcast cab. I got a whole bunch of them from a distributor for work. If your in the UK could do you a great deal on them.
