I'm at a rut
« on: June 19, 2008, 05:57:27 pm »
So, I'm starting the brain storming process for my senior projector next year.  I'm going to be building a cabinet (From kit or scratch, not a big deal at this point)...but I'm lost for inspiration.

I'm going to be doing a Willy Wonka themed cabinet (Yes, I'm aware this isn't related to arcades at all, but I don't really care either), but I don't know what I should do to make it stand.  For those of you who have seen the film, are there any ideas you can think of to spice up my cab?

Maybe you could make the marquee the golden ticket?

The old Willy Wonka or the movie remake?

I think someone on this forum did a Willy Wonka cabinet that looked pretty good. I'll see if I can't dig up the thread.

I'll save you the speech on how there is no original and new, but...the old one :)

I saw that...I'm digging the color scheme.  Whatever made me think pink and brown?  eck.
