Star Wars repro art work - BETTER SAY SOMETHING!
« on: June 17, 2008, 03:25:18 pm »
Due to many artwork complaint sessions about Star Wars and Tempest repro artwork - I decided to try and contact a few people in the repro business to see if there was anything that could be done.

I have been speaking with Rich (This Old Game), Anthony (Quarterarcade) and Darin (Phoenixarcade). I have expressed my dislikes (and lumped everyones complaints into this as well) about the Star Wars artwork (excluding the front and side art) and the Tempest marquee was also included in this. Everyone of these guys agreed that the yoke and CP art work is needing to be reworked into a more realistic repro. No one argues this. However, Darin and Anthony are both in agreement that the initial investment to repro these again would need 30-50 orders. I'll state in my opinion PRE ORDERS would need to be manditory so they don't get the typical "I'll take one" flake that backs out. Some where around the $60 dollar mark for the CP overlay.

I don't want to speak out of turn or say anything else that might be a breach of confidence.
This is your time to voice your opinions about the repro artwork and what your compaint is.  To keep the data all in one place I ask you to please go here to post. http://forums.webmagic.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=799304&page=0&vc=#Post799304
Thanks!
