Trackball & Coin Door LED Lighting
« on: June 17, 2008, 02:26:59 pm »
I am working on the finishing touches of my arcade and would like to add LED lights to my trackball and coin door.

1. Where can I get the T 3-1/4 wedge socket for the coin door.  I need the one that clips on to the coin mech fixture.

2. What socket do I use to light the trackball?

Thanks for your help!

I had the exact same question a few days ago, about where to find the lamp holders for wedge LEDs. I was promptly answered with the HAPP product number 42-0351-00D, which I dropped into Happ.com's seach bar and had them ordered within a few minutes.

I actually ordered a third lamp holder to try to somehow position under my trackball. I'm not quite sure how it's going to work as of yet, so I'll have to wait until the holders come so I can try to MacGyver up a solution. I'm guessing it'll be a simple matter of sticking something into the bottom of the CP and then sliding the lamp holder on top of it, but then again it wouldn't be the first time my first plan didn't work (don't be surprised if I come back here crying in a few days about how I can't get my trackball LED to stay in place).
