25" cab with or without MAME - Seattle area - pic heavy
« on: June 15, 2008, 12:25:34 pm »
I don't have room for this cab now that I'm building a showcase cab.  It's located just north of Seattle.
Asking $500 for the cab with MAME, or $200 if I remove the PC, speakers, ipac and marquee.  It's a loss for me either way, but I need it gone.

PC: Intel Celeron 2.8Ghz, 1GB RAM, 40GB Hard Drive, 2.1 Speaker system, ArcadeVGA video card, Windows XP Home with system restore disk.  MAME .103 with MALA front end.

Cabinet: Dynamo cab with 25" vertically mounted WG arcade monitor - there is a slight "wave" to the picture, but you don't notice it when playing.
Left joystick is an Ultimark T-stick, 12 red leaf switch player buttons.  I-Pac control interface, Bits Unlimited "Smart Strip" power strip.

The cabinet was wired for JAMMA when i got it, but I removed the switcher for use in another machine. The wires are all still there and labeled. A control panel wiring harness is included - some of the wires have quick connectors, others were soldered.  It can be turned back into a complete JAMMA game by simply adding a power supply and hooking up the JAMMA harness that's included.

Cabinet has security bar holes (I can include the security bar if wanted), some cracks and chips - but is sound. I've added a hole in the bottom of the back door with a 120mm fan to draw in cool air. The fan is connected to 5 volts from the PC, this makes it run about half normal speed so you can't hear it when playing.

NOTE: This cabinet is very heavy and awkward to move due to the bulge in the back door that accommodates the monitor.
