I cannot get to the third level using the latest version of Mame but I can with .100 or earlier.  While in the hen house you have to press left and right rapidly as the rooster throws the eggs at you.  Then while leaving the hen house down the narrow plank, YOU MUST press the jump button or the chicken weasel will trip you as time runs out.
