Optipac?

I bought an "optipac" and two rotary joysticks off a fellow arcade collector.

However, when I connect my USB to Serial cable to it, it is not recognized in windows.

Is this an old version that doesn't support USB? Could it be that I am just not using the right cable?

Not sure if the optipac you have is an older version or not, but the optipac I have is a little different than the one shown.  Attached is a pic of the optipac I have.  The jump setting is noticable different.  Try changing your jumper settings to match the attached pic.  Thanks, Shane
