Is there a free/cheap way to make my own karaoke songs.

I need free/cheap software for extracting vocal tracks as well as adding text lyric prompts to mp3/wav files so I can make my own karaoke songs. I am using Gameex as my front end for an htpc. Anyone know where I can get this type of software?

Do a google-search on Ultrastar Deluxe, then go to a torrent-tracker of choice and download whatever music you want  :)
