I would like to build my own jukebox too
...and I'm wondering if those touchscreen kits are a good way to go..or if it's better to buy directly a touchscreen lcd?

For the money I think I would go with the touchscreens in the link below. I've seen several people on here buy them and I haven't heard anyone complain about them and you will have an actual touchscreen.

I am also planning on buying one of those touchscreen kits on ebay..
Judging by the feedback the sellers of these kits get, they mustn't be too bad.

Jayme65, where in europe are you? I only ask because the links you posted were off ebay.com and you might be better looking on a more localised ebay. I know the 19" touchscreen kits go for about £40 on ebay.co.uk
