wiring illuminated button
« on: June 04, 2008, 08:53:46 pm »
Ok, I already tried with no result, so I'm going to ask here.

I have a small illuminated pushbutton, the contacts on the bottom are L+ L- C NO and NC

How do I wire my 5v from gpwiz to this thing ? I have one wire from the ground to the C, and one from the 5v to the L+ and then tried a few combos with no  result, so I'm sucking it up and asking here :)

(I'm also pretty sure it's a 5v led, not a 12v)

speculation here; but the NC, NO, and C are probably just for the switch, so the light probably should be L+ and L- (maybe Light+ and Light-).
so your 0 Volt  reference should probably be the L-
