Tomorrow I'm renting a truck and pilfering a local arcade vendor. I'll be paying him money, so unlike keytoq I won't be getting any free Galaga cabs or other free hardware. I've already arranged an empty Blitz '99 Quad cab for $100, which is about the most I'll pay... but I figure it's cheaper than buying a mameroom cab, and will most likely look nicer than what I'm able to build and would still cost less than the MDF, Marquee, and t-molding from scratch. Unfortunately, he's keeping the 49 ways

... but I'm sure he has his price. He's letting me pick out any other cabs or equipment too...
My question is this - does anyone have a wish list of small shippable, easily-identifiable authentic parts they need? Again, I'll be paying for the stuff I pull... so just post or PM what you'd pay for it. If he has it, and I find it, I'll try to get it for under your price. Keep in mind, you'll also have to pay shipping whatever it is.
Final question - Should I try to get the 49 ways? What's their FMV? I was planning on buying 4 U360's due to their versatility, as well as their decently long throw and non-clickyness... but I think I heard somewhere that 49 way sticks can be customized using certain frontends/software...

? Can someone verify and tell me their disadvantage/advantage to the U360's?
On an unrelated note, if I lined-up 4 U360's (player 1, 2, 3, 4) in a straight line on my CP, would I be able to tweak some settings in my Frontend (mala, gamex, maximus - I'm undecided), the U360 software, or in Mame itself, and have player 3 and 4's joysticks automatically become part of player 1 and 2's controls for games like Smash TV, Robotron, etc.? Could I do this with any Joystick paired with the proper software, or just U360's?
Thanks,
Eddie Arcadian
