Where to find arcade artwork...
« on: May 31, 2008, 06:44:55 pm »
Hey all!  I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations for some specific arcade artwork.  I'd like to to, preferably, be the vinyl adhesive back like quality side art.  I'm building a cabinet using Donkey Kong artwork and have a section that is approximately 26" long X 8" tall.  It looks bare and although it isn't authentic cabinet art, I need to find a clean DK logo or something to fill the space.  Also, if anybody knows where I can order a DK bezel using custom dimensions that'd be great!

My sideart is coming in soon, once I get all of this on the cabinet I'll post pictures, everything has come together beautifully so far!  :)

This is posted in the wrong forum (should be Artwork), but check out localarcade.com.

Noted.  Also, I've checked out that website before and found some images that may work, but don't see anywhere to order the images.

Download them, and create your artwork. Have a printer print the sideart for you. Most of us use

And you can open and edit those vector .ai images in inkscape (free). I'm doing that as we speak. Also see vectormagic.com for converting raster images into scalable vector images that you can enlarge without pixelation.
