Hi all, Im new to post on this board but ive been reading thru it alot in the last month or so.  Ive dont lots of research and taken down lots of notes.  But still have some questions about putting it all together.

I just bought a Dedicated Mortal Kombat 4 Arcade, its not here yet but on its way.  What I want to do is install Sega Dreamcast inside it (mainly for Mortal Kombar Gold which is the latest updated version of MK4), I want to keep everything on the outside original and dedicated.  I also want to go all plug and play parts so I dont want to cut wires off my monitor and solder and splice everything etc etc.

I want to be able to switch between the sega dreamcast and the JAMMA arcade with a switch box or something if possible.  I dont want to disable from playing the MK4 arcade version.

Ive read that the monitor it has is 15KHz and I could buy a VGA adapter and hack it, or I could buy the kit from arcadecabinets.co.uk.  And from what I read both of these ways aren't plug in play, I have to wire them in.  Is there a way to buy a switch box for this and do plug and play only?

Ive read for the controls I could hack a dreamcast controller and solder the wires into the controller circuit board but that will be a problem when I want to play the JAMMA arcade.  Also read that I could buy the arcadecabinets.co.uk kit for this as well..but I dont know if thats plug and play or solder work?  I also read about the Jpac but that would be a problem for playing my JAMMA arcade as well.  And I also read about the Xarcade BYO kit which they make it sound like it comes with the wires and from the BYO kit you just plug into the micro switch on the bottom of the button itself, which yea you could slip them all on and use the BYO kit and then pop them off and slip back on your control panel harness...but man thats alot of work to play the JAMMA arcade.   So what Im mainly asking here is are any of these plug and play and is there a way to have a switch box for this as well so I can switch from JAMMA to Dreamcast controls.

My perfect setup would be, I turn on the monitor, open the coin box, power up my dreamcast and play Mortal Kombat Gold, then I decide I want to play the Dedicated Mortal Kombat 4 JAMMA so I power off my dreamcast and power off my monitor and flip a switch for my monitor and flip the switch for my control panel and then power up the arcade like normal and play MK4.

If this is not possible, then could I maybe get close to this, maybe for the monitor, I have to unplug the dreamcast cable and plug back in the arcade cable by hand?

Then Im also thinking about future plans, and I think I might want to install a PS2 and do it the same way.  So I would have JAMMA, Dreamcast and PS2 all in one cabinet and switchable.

Which since I would want to use a PS2 I would want to play games like Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks which is Anolog for walking around..so in that case sounds like Xarcade BYO kit is the only way to go as there the only way to get Anolog...correct?

Sorry for the long e-mail guys, but I wanted to explain exacually what I wanted and what ive read so far.

I was just told that the arcadecabinets.co.uk's sega dreamcast kit, plugs everything into this JAMMA board (video, sound and controls) and I just simply put it in the place of my arcades JAMMA, is this correct?  Even if my monitor is 15KHz?  If this was the case and its that easy, then I could buy a multi-JAMMA pack and have my MK4 JAMMA and Dreamcast JAMMA kit both installed and playable with just a switch of a button.  And I could add others later like a PS2 JAMMA kit, MK2 JAMMA etc...

Anyone know if this is true?
