Lucky & Wild gun calibration
« on: May 29, 2008, 10:11:03 am »
Hi,

Could anyone tell me how I calibrate the guns in Lucky & Wild? Also, is there a file anywhere that I can download that calibrates all gun games for me?

Thanks in advance.

Si

I'm lazy, so I'll just link the MameFAQ how to cal L&W. ;)  There's calibration of other games on that page too.

As doing all at once, you have to remember most of these games were separate games on different hardware, and your hardware might be different from others, and different versions of mame can break where the calibration is stored (usually the game's nvram file, which again differs depending on the game's hardware).  So no file or app to calibrate for you.

It's possible to share post-calibration nvram files, and should "automatically" calibrate those games on the same mame version (and maybe versions before or after).  But if the emulation improves or other changes on a game, that nvram very well could break, which means either waiting for someone else to go the calibration steps and sharing the nvrams, or doing it yourself.  Sorry.
