SRS Sound Plugin
« on: May 28, 2008, 01:02:57 pm »
Well, I've finally started using Wincab on my Mame cabinet and am enjoying it very much. The interface is very fun to use even though I didn't use many jukeboxes growing up. I think I'll look into getting a touchscreen for the full effect.

One question I have about it is, can it support any of the Media Player plugins like SRS. I ran it last  night when comparing Windows Media Player with Wincab and was pretty amazed when I turned on the SRS and cranked up the Wow effect/Bass enhancement. I thought Bob Marley & The Wailers were actually in the room with me, and the sound coming out of my speakers sounds pretty flat without it. Is there any kind of effect like that that I can use in Wincab?

Thanks in advance!

WinCab does not use Media Player so unfortunately it cannot use any Media Player plugins.
