I'm not crazy about T-Molding so I planned on routing a curve on the outside square edges.  I just did a dry mockup of my sides and base together and I'm not sure that it needs it.  Do you think the routed edges will make it look more "pro"?  Looking at it put together I'm not sure where I would stop the rounding.  I did route the front of my control panel.

i have t molding on my cabinet, because i bought an empty cabinet and it already had t molding installed.  i didn't use any on my control panel that i made though. i thought about using a router and roundover bit to make the edges look better, but i was afraid that it would be too much.. so what i did was get a 1/8" roundover bit for my dremmel and used the router attachment for it to round over the edges.  it is such a small bit that it is a very subtle effect.  there are no sharp edges/corners, but yet it isn't so round that it looks out of place.  i need to sand the edges because the MDF i used has a very rough edge on it.  i am going to build a different panel, so i'm not going to bother, but i did like the look of the tiny roundover bit.   i'll try to take pics tomorrow...but right now the batteries are dead in my camera and i don't have any AA batteries lying around.

On my first cabinet, I did the round over and was happy.  I had to hand paint the sucker because I didn't know what I was doing, but I was still quite pleased with the results.

Those edges look clean.  You can probably get away w/o the T molding.
