I fail to see how either of those could be called arcade-related............ or funny.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll just drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

vorghagen, Homestar is like Monty Python... some people find it hilarious and others just think it's dumb.

Some of the funniest stuff on that site is Strongbad's emails... Eric the Vampire, Trogdor... well at least it made me laugh!

Homestar and Strongbad are a bit of a cult things too.  Actually I'm surprised nobody made a Homestar or Strongbad themed cab yet. ;)

I think that's actually the girl's name and is of no relation to Dragon's Lair.   Here's one that's closer to arcade related:

The first one is...or one of them, I forget which, has the virtual pizza thing. The other one actually has the part where he rips off of video games for the webcomic. Not all of them are funny, but a lot of them are. I don't know if you could say it's like Monty Python - say, in some American fashion - because some of the stuff is regular funny. MP is just always, over-the-top absurd. However, Homestarr is a bit of a cult-ural thing.

Well I should say I love Monty Python!

I guess my comparison was along the lines that it's a bit more of a different kind of humor.  Some like it, some don't get it.  I think it's hilarious and especially love Strongbad's email.  That's the real gem of the site.

Actually, someone did make a full-scale Trogdor cabinet, and Homestarrrunner.com featured it on the website under the "fan stuff" section. I haven't seen it since then, but it was pretty awesome.

Strong Bad has his own video game coming out pretty soon from the fine people at Telltale Games, who brought you Sam and Max:  Season 1 & 2.  Homestarrunner.com is all kinds of funny, but some people just don't care for it and we pity them.

Seriously, jumping into the series from SBemail 181 would be fairly confusing to a newbie.  Better to start from the beginning and work forward.  Going back to the Monty Python comparison, it'd be like starting from a later episode where a hedgehog jumps out and says "Dinsdale!" and you have no idea what's going on because you missed the episode with the Piranha Brothers.
