hey folks, I'll try not to hijack this thread too much, but this is the closest group of people I've found who can hopefully answer my question too.
my setup:
vertical, cocktail machine (formerly a Galaga machine)
2 U360s, one on each side, attached via USB
P1 and P2 buttons mapped separately, routed through an IPac.
I've got the gamelist flipping back and forth whenever someone uses a joystick on either end, and they can scroll through the list just fine.
My problem is, that for either player, when scrolling through the list with the joystick, the player has to press the start button TWICE to get a game to start.
Upon return from the game, you have to move the joystick twice again to start scrolling through the list again. It's like controller mapping option is eating the first keypress or joystick move before the FE responds again.
If I turn off controller mapping, then it works fine (1 keypress to start, 1 joystick move to scroll the list) except that I don't get the orientation to flip when P2 takes control.
Does it work like this for anyone else?
