That's because when you click on them you're only getting part of the url as the link.  Try cuting-and-pasting the whole link into your Browser.  Or try below...

Hope that periscope game has all working controls that may be kind of spendy to fix. I remember that race drivin game. It has a pretty good set up for any racing game. It might not be a bad one to hack into a mame racing machine. It should have about every control you need for almost any racing game. You might just need to add a few extra buttons. I don't know if I'd restore it to a race drivin machine. That game was ok but if you remember playing it, you have to pretty much do perfect to keep playing it really isn't a racing game that will keep your interest a long time once you get good.

I would outfit them to mame cab status but also play other games in it..like other race sims or shooter games..star wars would look cool in the sub cab no?????

How fast can you move the sub controller?  (up and down specifically)/

could you hack it like a starwars controller?  It might add something to starwars and a few other games only seeing whats directly infront of you.

and the sitdown will be great.  But I think it might work better for hacking to a PC or maybe use SVid and go with a console system.  Emulated racing games I like are all topviews.  But PC  and some console racers are just down right sweet!

Delta88, for the race drivin cab, get a used dreamcast ($40), dc steering wheel/pedals (used for like $25), used F355 Challenge game ($14), and VGA box for hacking to RGB std res ($15 for blaze dc box...highly recommend).  And you will have a kick ass modern driving game for around $100 investment.  Please don't waste the cab by putting pole poistion in it  :P.

Well, Race Drivin' isn't emulated in MAME (maybe something else?). I actually liked the game, though it did get fustrating that you couldn't win if you messed up even a little bit. So, I would probably try to restore it.

However, if it requires lots of $$ to fix it, I would just make it an awesome MAME-type cab for driving games.

I think you should put the Dreamcast in there and play some modern driving games. Rush 2049 and HydroThunder would be very cool in that driver.

Um, in a word "Yes".  hack a dc wheel.  Personally I don't think its worth having a mame driving cab unless you want the added expense.  DC is the cheaper and mordern games rock in a good cab like that.

Consider going with a TV and a console so you can change them.

Some of the Xbox ones are amazing.  Sure, not worth the cash now, but in a year, you might want to upgrade that dreamcast to an xbox.

The streering wheel will be the interesting part.  I would just replace it with a store bought one.  Will have a better feel, but wont look as original.

Man, I've been dying to get my hands on a Race Drivin' machine so that I can have a mame/ps1/2/dreamcast/pc game cockpit.  I would probably hack an act labs RS system in there since you can just swap cartridges for different systems and they have a sweet shifter for pc racing games.  I'd also put in a nice flight stick so that it would double as a flight/space simulator.  I'd make some sort of panel that would cover the racing wheel during space/flight games and would look like the inside of a ship of some sort. That, or an MP3 jukebox are my next projects.  If you want to get rid of the Race Drivin cab, let me know.  The Race Drivin ones are cool but what I'd really like is one that is totally inclosed.  Perhaps I could get a cockpit and rig curtains or something.  There's a certain feel about being in an enclosed cockpit so that you can't see your living room or game room or whatever that gives it that added realism.
