FS: Parts for a 2 player CP w/ trackball and spinner
« on: May 16, 2008, 06:39:12 pm »
Hey guys,

Last fall, I did all the research to make a nice CP, and even ordered all the parts, designed the CP, and drilled the holes.  The only thing left to do is to make the trackball hole and put the thing together.  Sounds easy enough -- but I've become so busy with work that I don't foresee that I'll be able to get to it any time soon.  I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in buying the whole lot.

It includes 2 fighter setups (Happs competition joysticks and the concave buttons), a TT2 spinner, a brand new Happs trackball and another not brand new trackball (I changed my mind and decided to get a new one), an IPAC, a wiring kit with everything you need, a MsPacMan reunion joystick with a new balltop replacement from GGG, and T-molding.  If you want, I can toss in the board with the CP design drilled into it.  I managed to fit everything fairly comfortably within a 23.5 inch width (so it'd be the exact width of a pinball machine, for the simulators).

Anyway, let me know if you're interested in the lot.  If so, I can pull together what I paid for everything, and sell the lot to you sans shipping.  I'm hoping this would be a good way for someone to get everything they need without having to go to multiple shops (i.e., you can't get an IPAC, Happs trackball, competition joysticks, and TT2 spinner all in the same place), and I'll cut out the shipping cost completely.

Thanks,
Will

I would really rather not part it out -- I'd be more interested in discounting the overall price.  I don't have the fully tally, but I got all the parts from the cheapest source, and I'd be willing to discount 5% off of that, and cover the shipping.  The shipping alone would be substantial, since you'd have to buy these things from individual suppliers.

5% off of what price?  :dunno
You're gonna have a hard time selling it if you don't tell us what you're asking for it...our definitions of "cheapest source" are probably different. I buy a HAPPS trackball for $8, most spend over $50....so clarify and post some  :pics
