I previously was using an old mx400 in my cab and everything worked fine. Now the problem with this card was that it doesn't support interlacing so my front end had to be very low resolution and I could not run any PC games i wanted to.
I recently switched the MX400 for a radeon 9600 and now the interlacing works at 640X480 but for some reason all the more graphic intensive games on mame (mk2, sfIII etc.) run much slower than before and have sound skipping. On the previous video card these games ran fine. Previous drivers were uninstalled and correct drivers for the new video card were installed. Running everything in D3D tried DD as well but then it's even slower. Anyone have an idea of why this is?
