Namco System 12 Question
« on: May 10, 2008, 12:01:02 pm »
The cabinet that I picked up recently came with a Tekken 3 board. Does anyone know how to get a system 12 board to enter the configuration screen.

According to the KLOV:
This was the first game to use Namco's System 12 board. The PCB does not have any DIP switches. Instead, a game configuration screen appears after pressing the Test button on the board set.

I cannot find this "button" anywhere.

Do you have the Jamma pinout for the board?
If so there should be a wire connection for a test button, you can wire one yourself for testing purposes.
There are three kinds of people in the world those that can count and those that can't.

Those wires were missing from the harness, so I put some bare wires in there and a switch and guess what it worked. Thanks. Now when I play 2 player it will not just be 1 match. :applaud: :applaud: :applaud:
