Korean Wico-Style Sticks
« on: May 04, 2008, 12:29:51 pm »
I have a line on 5 Korean Wico-style sticks for $35.00.   Are these sticks complete ass or are they worth the $7.00 each?

The Chinese sticks are complete and utter ass..... Badly made with poor quality switches. I fed mine to one of the local dogs to chew up rather than put it anywhere near my panel.

The leaf switch ones are the worst of all. The one I got looked like a Sanwa, but arrived with the parts starting to rust and the tags on the leaf switches snap off at the first opportunity they get. They plate the leaf switches with some sort of crappy thin chrome to hide the fact that there's rusty steel underneath it. It soon breaks through.

They feel like crap to play as well. Long sloppy throw on them and they wear out FAST.

Don't touch them unless you think they're worth a go to try out at that price.

If they're the ones with the gray base and rippled contact on the leaf switch, they're junk.

I've got some NOS ones for you. Shipping might be an issue though.
