Issue with a button through my JPAC
« on: May 01, 2008, 04:18:38 pm »
So, My cab was down for probably about 2 months, and I finally got around to fixing the wiring.  I had just been playing my CPS2 cart of Super Turbo, and today decided to hook my JPAC / MAME PC back up.   Boot it up, and try to run some Pocket Fighter, but my P1 Light Punch button isn't working.  Every other button works fine and that button works fine on my CPS2 cart.

Anyone have any ideas?  It is almost like the JPAC fried just that button or something.

Try reprogramming it.  Mine seemed to flake out until I reprogrammed it.  Also, make sure all of the grounds are connected well.

Yeah... Figured it out.  The ground I was using was coming from the Kick Harness on my CPS2 cart, which was not in use since the JAMMA was plugged into the ipac.
